AGATHE is a soft and comfortable kids’ sweater that they’ll want to wear every day. It is a variant of our Alice pattern.
The sweater is worked in four pieces: the front, the back, and the two sleeves. The right side of the body and the lower part of the sleeves are worked in stranded colorwork with two colors, while the back remains in plain stockinette stitch, creating a simple and elegant contrast.
The colorwork pattern is easy to follow, and the straight sleeves make assembly very simple. The round neckline is finished in stockinette stitch and left to roll naturally for a soft, relaxed look.
The sweater closes with a small button at the back, making it easy to put on and ensuring a comfortable fit.
For a coordinated and extra cozy set, you can also knit the matching cowl.

This sweater is designed with progressive positive ease depending on the size: 2¼ (2¼–3½–4–4¾)" [6 (6–9–10–12) cm].
GAUGE : after blocking 4" x 4" (10 x 10 cm) on US 4 (3.5 mm) needles 26 sts x 32 rows in plain St st 29 sts x 30 rows in stranded colorwork
